Status and structure

The Société du Havre de Montréal (Montréal Harbourfront Corporation) is a non-profit organization created in response to the recommendations of the Montréal Summit, with the financial support of three levels of government.

The SHM was incorporated in 2002, and is headed by a Board of Directors representing the main stakeholders in the development of Montréal’s waterfront.

Organization

The President and Chief executive officer of the SHM, Gaëtan Rainville, has a small team of project managers and consultants who establish guidelines, and carry out the necessary research and analysis underlying all the Corporation’s plans.
