• The lands that concern Société du Havre de Montréal cover an area of close to 10 km², of which more than 10% consists of vacant lots.
• It is bordered by the St. Lawrence, including Notre-Dame and Sainte-Hélène islands, and the Ville-Marie Expressway, and extends from the Champlain to the Jacques Cartier bridges.
• The Montréal harbourfront has enormous development potential, but a number of obstacles must be overcome before it can be fully realized.
